If you met Carlos on his trip, you can leave your comment/Story here.
I did it to Pokhara in 2 days, the first was 37 k’s, the second 135 ( fuck it after 80 i was so destroyed ) believe it or not but it was the pure torture and i enyoed it so much.
I don’t know, what kept me going, but it was great to feel what the body can suffer if only the brain is ruling.
It was an amazing experience to go as fast as i could for the entire day.
I think i might get addicted to full speed, above the limit biking.
You have to try it once! Go a speed you can hold for 15 minutes the whole day long.
Maybe it is just the ideas you get if the brain doesn’t get enough oxigen ; )
Somehow i got your email wrong, so please send it once more.
I wish you all the best and tailwind!
See you somewhere in this world, maybe Thailand.

You are a very wise man!
Hannes and i are more like stupid boys.
Imagine what happened.
We went north, found a lovely river and build a raft made of Bamboo.
The raft was perfect, no waves were to high, we could go anywhere.
We had 4 amazing days, some of the best on the entire trip when we went down the Nam Ou river, that meets the Mekong close to Luang Prabang.
Everthing was perfect, just imagine to stand on the raft in the night, slowly floating downstream and seeing this amazing steep mountains pass by, hearing birds in the jungle and the waters murmor and nothing else.
We had a good time until the day before yesterday when the water got wilder.
Due to the lack of rain the waterlevel sunk and more obstacles reached the surface and so did 2 big rocks………….
We hit the first one of them with the rafts edge, that made us turn arround quickly and we had no chance to escape the crash with the next rock.
Tonnes of water smashed the raft against the rock but we remained unhurt.
Fortunately we crawled on the rock where someone rescued us after a long time.
Hannes lost everything except his bike and in a actionhero -style he saved my bike as well, so all we have left are 2 bags with spareparts and medicine – great!
Passports, cameras, diaries………….everything lost.
So you missed a great nature experience, but, you missed a little catastrophy as well.
That’s the diffference between a wise man and 2 stupid boys.
I wish you all the best!
Greetings from Hannes!

We (I´m with my girlfriend now) don´t really know where to go first.
We might get a bus to catch up with you.
¿How about the rainy season in bolivia, will we get seriuos problems¿
¿Do you know if the roads will be passable in march¿
I hope, we will meet!
One more question, how hard is riding were you are now, i don´t want to start with the worlds worst roads with my girlfriend.
Where are you now and where will you go?
We are just south of you, in Trevellin, south of Los Alerces National Park.
Tomorrow we’ll go to Futaleufu in Chile and we´ll go south on the Carreterra Austral.
